For When You Need Pet Care
We can visit your home once or twice a day to feed your small animal, provide fresh water, clean their habitat and spend time with them. Maintaining your pets’ usual routine helps reduce stress and anxiety. Leaving them well-cared for and happy.
Going On Holiday
For when you are out of the house for long periods of time, you can ensure that your pets are well-cared for and safe while you're on holiday.
Work All Day
If you work full-time and are unavailable during the day, a visit from us can provide care and stimulation for your pet.

We can care for a variety of small pets, such as, but not limited to: turtles, tortoises, snakes, lizards, chickens, goats, hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, rats, birds, ferrets, rabbits, fish and ducks.

Hiring a pet caregiver ensures your pet receives personalised care in the comfort of its own home, reducing stress by keeping small animals in their familiar environment and maintaining their routine.

Do you provide overnight stays or services?
I’m unable to stay in your home overnight while you are away as our services are limited to daytime care and visits. This policy ensures I can provide quality pet care to all my clients while maintaining a schedule.
Walks & Whiskers provide ‘pop-in’ services, designed for regular cat care at frequent intervals throughout the day.
What information should I provide to the pet carer?
Provide feeding schedules, note habit checks, medication instructions, vet contact info, your contact info and any specific care instructions.
How should I prepare my home for a pop-in visit?
Ensure all pet supplies (food, bedding, habitat cleaning or maintenance supplies and toys) are easily accessible. Leave clear instructions and emergency contact information.
What should I do if the pet carer has an emergency?
Ensure the caregiver has a list of emergency contacts, including a neighbour or nearby friend and provide instructions for emergency veterinary care.
How much do pet minders charge per day?
Charges vary per pet, location and circumstances. It is best if you contact us to discuss your requirements where we can answer any questions you have and provide you with an accurate price.
